About PropTech Reviews

As a society, our technological innovation continues to explode at an almost frightening pace, entire industries and the way they operate are being changed. Forever.

That’s what makes the world of PropTech so exciting. The property industry was one that was ripe for change. Sure, it always has been (and many would argue still is) primarily a ‘people’ business first.

But that doesn’t mean technology cannot help drive it forward even faster.

Ultimately, the way people are buying and selling houses is changing and will continue to do so as more and more technologies and innovations become available.

PopTech Reviews was born to help those in the industry, and the wider public keep up with the pace of change.

There’s a PropTech solution out there for almost every problem. Our aim is to bring them all together to create one single database that makes finding the right solution quick and easy.

Beyond that, our mission is to ensure honest, reliable reviews from real users are available for each and every PropTech company.

One Website, Two Solutions

Essentially the PropTech Reviews website exists to fulfil two purposes:

1) Create a single database for anyone who needs PropTech solutions

2) Give an opportunity to PropTech companies to increase their exposure

That means that users of PropTech can benefit from finding a broad range of solutions all in one place – many of which will have real user reviews.

Plus, PropTech companies can benefit from the increased exposure a listing brings and use that to generate more customers.

Meet The Team

Founder – Paul James

Paul James is primarily a marketing expert, with over 15 years of experience in the online marketing industry.

Known in the property industry for working in the marketing teams of various companies, Paul is also the creator of popular consumer advice website Property Road.

Paul created PropTech Reviews after being contacted by many PropTech companies who wanted to be mentioned on the Property Road website.

He realised there was a need to create a single searchable database to help people find and compare PropTech solutions more easily, hence PropTech Reviews was born.

Editor – Steve Lumley

Steve has been by Paul’s side writing for Property Road since 2018. However, he has many years of experience in writing about property stretching back over many years.

During this time he’s covered a diverse range of topics, from property investing through to advice for buyers and vendors.

While he hasn’t yet had a book published in his own name, he has ghostwritten for several authors and his titles include ‘An Insiders Guide To Being A Smart House Buyer’ and ‘How To Become A Successful Landlord’. Steve writes most of the articles you’ll see on the PropTech Reviews blog.

Writer – Reno Charlton

Reno comes from a property marketing background, having worked in the marketing department of a national UK letting agency for more than 16 years.

She is also a qualified copywriter, with more than 20 years experience working on both a part-time and full-time basis.

As a writer, Reno has produced copy for global businesses including those in the property and tech industries. She combines her skills and experience within these two industries to create content relating to both properties and property-related technology.
